Amit Shah Urges Voters to Elect BJP Candidates in Tripura: According to Union Home Minister and BJP star campaigner Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched a series of initiatives aimed at developing tribal people and strengthening northeastern economies.
As an example of the government's efforts for the community, he pointed to the increased budgetary allocation for tribal-oriented programs.
At Kumarghat in North Tripura district on Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the party's campaign led by senior leaders, vowing to eradicate infiltration and terrorism from the region.

By 2047, if the BJP is re-elected to power for a third straight term, he pledged to make Tripura a developed state, following the party's national slogan of 'Viksit Bharat'.
Shah told the party’s public meeting, “Have faith in Modiji, vote for Lotus. We will work hard to build a state of visit. The Northeast has been plagued by infiltration. Who allowed infiltration in the past? We worked hard to stop 90 percent of it. If we are elected to power, we will stop infiltration 100 percent.”
“Every single vote you cast for Modiji will make him prime minister,” Shah said, urging voters to vote for Biplab Kumar Deb in West Tripura and Kriti Singh Debbarma in East Tripura ST-reserved Parliamentary constituencies. The first phase of the election will take place in Tripura West on April 19, while the second phase is scheduled for April 26.
As a result of the BJP-led NDA government, nine new national highways have been built, railway connectivity has been extended to Sabroom, an international airport has been built, and substantial funds have been invested to solve tribal problems.

On nomination submission days in both seats, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said the public supported the BJP.
In addition, he said the Lok Sabha elections will play an important role in making India a developed country by 2047.
“Our challenge is how much per cent will be our winning margin, not winning alone,” Saha said.
“Modiji worked to develop and ensure the country’s safety. The first tribal person to become president of the country was Droupadi Murmu during Modiji’s tenure. A tribal museum is being built. The tribal affairs ministry had a budget of Rs 24,000 crore in the past, while PM Modi hiked it to Rs 1.25 lakh crore. There were 90 Ekalavya Model Schools before Modiji came to power, and we raised it to 740 in ten years,” he said.
Also, 23 years after seeking refuge in Tripura in 1997, the BJP government gave permanent settlement to 40,000 Bru migrants living subhuman lives.
“We have come to ask for blessings. Communists made tribals and non-tribals quarrel, they gave zero in the name of development,” Shah said.
