Actor Allu Arjun recently appeared virtually before Nampally local court in connection with his bail hearing in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
The actor, listed as accused no. 11, had filed a regular bail petition. The police sought more time to investigate the matter, delaying the court's next hearing to December 30.

Meanwhile, further proceedings regarding his judicial remand have been adjourned to January 10, where the actor is expected to appear in person.
However, the Telangana High Court granted him four weeks of interim bail on December 14, following which he was released from jail.
The actor is an accused in the case booked which occurred during the Hyderabad premiere of his blockbuster film Pushpa 2: The Rule, tragically claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman and left her eight-year-old son injured.

Following the incident, the police registered a case against Allu Arjun and other under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)at the Chikkadpally police station based on the complaint lodged by the deceased woman's family. The team of Pushpa offered financial assistance of Rs 2 crore to the family recently.
Despite the controversy, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, directed by Sukumar, remains a box office juggernaut, grossing over ₹1700 crore worldwide in its initial weeks. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil alongside Allu Arjun.
