According to this order, in view of the cold wave, all government schools in the state will remain closed from 26 to 31 December. Along with this, the department has also made it clear that even after December 31, if the weather conditions remain bad, then this holiday will be extended for a few more days. Let us inform that in the capital Patna today, the minimum temperature is expected to be 12 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be 26 degree Celsius. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department further told that the condition of fog and cold wave can continue in 2 days.

Recently, the Bihar government has also released the list of school holidays in the year 2023. According to the Bihar School Holiday Calendar 2023, schools will remain closed for 121 days in 365 days next year. These holidays also include festival holidays, summer holidays and winter holidays.
