Akshay Kumar, 58, rides into Zee Cine Awards on horseback; fans praise his fitness

The actor Akshay Kumar has never disappointed the viewers with his vigorous acts in award shows. The actor has just been seen in the Zee Cine Awards 2026 making a dramatic entry to his performance on horseback. There is even a video of the incident that has appeared on the internet and fans are going wild with his power and physical condition.

On Monday, a Reddit user disseminated a video in which Akshay is wearing a turban and riding a horse among the audience when he was being captured. The event was the occasion on which the actor wore a black formal suit and white trainers. It was referred to by fans as a full-blown Khiladi moment as he was 58 and still in good shape.

One Reddit user commented, “Can’t believe he’s almost 60.” Another wrote, “He is the OG action hero. You can never steal that title from him.” A third added, “He’s the only Bollywood hero who can carry this off.” Another commented, “Lmao he looks so different here with the turban that I was thinking ‘Akshay kaha hai isme’ at first. He has so much energy, man. Hats off to his fitness levels!” One fan demanded, “Whoa, make Singh Is King 2.” Another wrote, “He has started to give 2007–2010 vibes again.” A fan added, “Sethji on fire,” while another commented, “He has more energy than a teenager.”

At the Zee CinAwards, Akshay won the category of the Best Actor (Male) Jury in Kesari Chapter 2. In the movie, he was Justice C. Shankaran Nair. It got mixed reviews and earned 145 crore globally in the box office.

What Akshay Kumar is doing next in movies. Akshay also has a number of interesting projects on the cards. The actor is in the process of waiting the release of his horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla. It is the first time he reunites with Priyadarshan and Paresh Rawal in his film. It features also Wamiqa Gabbi and Tabu in major roles and will open in cinemas on 10 April. The opening song of the movie, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, had a harsh Bhool Bhulaiyaa feel, as the fans were thrilled by the attitude of Akshay getting back to the genre.

Welcome to the Jungle is also on his pipeline. The movie is directed by Ahmed Khan and features some of the biggest stars, including Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta and Disha Patani among others. The movie will come out on theaters on 26 June. Akshay also appears in Haiwaan which was completed shooting by Priyadarshan. The film has been yet to be released.
