23-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide in Delhi’s Paharganj After Argument With Parents
A 23-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in the Paharganj area of Delhi after an argument with his mother, said Delhi police on Monday.

23-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide in Delhi’s Paharganj: A 23-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in the Paharganj area of Delhi after an argument with his mother, said Delhi police on Monday.
An emergency call about a dead person at Paharganj police station was made at around 11 pm on Sunday, a dead body later identified as Jasmit, aka Jashn, from Shora Kothi in Paharganj.

As per the police reports, he was known to have alcoholism and drag altercations with parents now and then.
On February 22, at about 7 pm, while intoxicated, he had a fight with his mother and tried to attack her.
Then he went away from the house. After that, an outcry was heard from their house, so kept it locked and went to their daughter's house in Ghaziabad.

The family had been tipped-off by a neighbor about attempted breaking into their house.
A relative, Tejinder, has been sent over to unlock the main door and check whether the first available entry point gave a clear signal.
Around 10 pm on February 23, according to the official police report, Tejinder noticed that the main lock was intact but found Jasmit had forced himself in through the balcony latch. On entry, Tejinder discovered that Jasmit was hanging inside.
