23-Year-Old Man Attempts to Enter Salman Khan’s Mumbai Residence, Claims He Just Wanted to Meet the Actor
Police said that, on Thursday the man, who was identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, had gone into Salman Khan's home on May 20.

In a new scare, a 23-year-old man is said to have ly entered the house of actor Salman Khan in Mumbai-Galaxy Apartments-early this week, said police on Thursday.

According to an NDTV report, police on Thursday revealed details of the incident. Jitendra Kumar Singh entered the house at about 7:15 p.m. on May 20.

As the police account goes, it was sometime around 9:45 a.m. that Jitendra was first spotted roaming near Salman's house in Bandra. Thereafter, the police officer deployed on Salman's security told him to leave.
It is said that this left him angry. The accused threw his mobile phone onto the ground and broke it. That evening, Jitendra entered Galaxy Apartments in a car owned by a person residing within the same building.
He was however stopped by the police again. This time, they handed him over to the Bandra police.

During interrogation, Jitendra told the police that he wanted to meet the actor. "The police were not letting me meet him so I was trying to hide," he said.
Jitendra hails from Chhattisgarh. He is in custody. A case has been registered against him, and further investigation is underway. It remains unclear if Salman was at his house at the time of the incident.
Salman Khan's beefed up security
Salman being under threat over the last few months meant that his security went up considerably. Mumbai Police are taking the matter very seriously to ensure Salman Khan's safety and also to probe the origin and intent of the message.
A threat message against Salman Khan was sent to the Mumbai Police on November 5 of last year, purportedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The actor was given two choices by the threat message: either apologize or pay ₹5 crore to remain alive. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is said to have sent him another threat message. Last week, Salman went back to Mumbai.
