IMD Issues Yellow Alert: IMD has issued a yellow alert for Delhi warning severe heatwave till Thursday and for Mumbai, heavy rain to expected along with extreme thunderstorms on June 10.
As per the weather forecast, Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad are likely to experience thunderstorms with lightning, heavy rain, and strong winds of up to 87 km/h.
These weather conditions will go on for the next five days with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.

However, the temperature in Delhi is expected to stay at a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius for the next five days.

On Sunday, the highest temperature in Safdarjung of Delhi's weather was 42.5 degrees Celsius (°C). It got as high as 41.4°C f from the previous day's hike. Officials say that the highest temperature will reach 44°C at Safdarjung on Monday and 45°C by Tuesday. It will stay in this range until Thursday.
