About Date A Live

There have been 150 million casualties as a result of a fatal quake that destroys Eurasia in the Japanese light novel series Date A Live, published by Fujimi Shobo from 2011 to 2020.

As the years pass, smaller quakes occur irregularly. Shido Itsuka, a high school student, encounters a mysterious girl who is one of the Spirits from different dimensions who cause the quakes.

Additionally, she is the commander of the Fraxinus airship, which is crewed by Ratatoskr and Asgard Electronics. Ratatoskr recruits Shido in order to seal the powers of the Spirits, thereby preventing them from posing a threat to humanity. However, he must make each Spirit fall in love with him and kiss him first in order to accomplish this.

The Anti-Spirit Team, led by Sir Isaac Ray Pelham Westcott, is opposed to Shido and his companions. As Shido seals more Spirits, he gains allies for dates, but also increases competition with his friends for attention.
