Brain Tumor is an abnormal growth of cells in brain tissue, it happens when the blood cells change and multiply faster than healthy cells and then form into mass which is called a tumor.
You should treat brain tumors as fast as possible or they will spread more and lead to death.
Cancerous tumors should be treated immediately as it will spread faster than non-cancerous tumors.
However, to educate people about brain tumors and provide support to the people who are affected by Brain Tumor, we celebrate World Brain Tumor Day which is observed every year on June 8.

World Brain Tumor Day History
World Brain Tumor Day was originated by the Brain Tumor Association known as Deutsche Hirntumorhilfe eV in Germany, it was first observed on June 8, 2000.
However, a lot of people across the world appreciated the efforts of the association and finally, in 2010 the International Brain Tumor Alliance declared World Tumor Day which will be observed on June 8.
From then, every year on June 8 we celebrate Tumor Day to teach people and to provide assistance to the people who are affected by Brain Tumor.

If a tumor is not treated in an early stage, it can become a major problem and also can lead to death, cancerous tumors are more dangerous as it give less time for treatment.
The main motive of this event is to teach people about the symptoms of brain tumors so that they can be treated as early as possible and support research.
