Vistara Tickets Available Only Until Sept 3: According to the reports, the merger will take place on November 12, and after that, all Vistara passengers will travel with Air India.

Vistara Tickets Available Only Until Sept 3: After the merge plan between Vistara and Air India, which could take place soon, the passengers will only be able to book tickets until September 3 for flights that will take off on November 11.
Vistara Airlines reported that all its flights will become part of Air India’s operations and its bookings will be shifted to Air India’s website.
The airline said, “Vistara will continue to operate flights and accept bookings as usual until November 11, 2024.”

According to the reports, the merger will take place on November 12, and after that, all Vistara passengers will travel with Air India.
The decision came after when the Singapore International Airlines gave an update on the merger plan. In a press release, the airline said that the airline has received the approval of the India government for FDI into Air India.
After this merger plan is successful, Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. will hold 73.38% of the new company, and Singapore Airlines will hold another 25.1%.
In a statement, Singapore International Airlines added “This approval, along with other governmental and regulatory approvals received to date, marks a significant development towards the completion of the merger.”

The Vistara CEO, Vinod Kannan said, “We are immensely grateful to all our customers for their support and patronage over the last 10 years. As we progress further in our growth journey, we want to emphasize that this merger is about offering them more choice with a larger fleet and a wider network, while elevating the overall travel experience.”
Vistara reported that the customers will be provided the latest updates about the merge plan through social media or the website of Air India and Vistara.
Vistara also added, “This includes information on web check-in, lounge access, ancillary services, and all other possible touchpoints. All efforts will be made by the dedicated teams across both airlines to ensure a seamless transition.”
The merger deal between Air India and Vistara got its approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) in September 2023 under certain conditions.
