Gold and Silver Rates Today On September 1: After a decrease in gold price the previous day, the gold rate today in India again decreased.

On September 1, the 22-carat gold rate today in India stands at Rs 66,950 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate today costs Rs 73,040 per 10 grams.

The gold rate for 22-carat today has decreased by Rs 100 in the last 24 hours while the 24-carat gold price went up by Rs 110 compared to last day’s price.

Yesterday, the gold rate for 22-carat was priced at Rs 67,050 per 10 grams and the gold rate for 24-carat stood at Rs 73,150 per 10 grams.

The silver rate today in India stands at Rs 88,400, the silver price has reduced by Rs 1,400 in the last 24 hours.

In the MCX, the gold contracts, maturing on September 2024 declined by Rs 19 and were trading at Rs 1400 per 10 gm while the silver futures were down by Rs 24 and were trading at Rs 4883 per kg.

The last massive gold and silver price fluctuation was recorded after the announcement of the Union Budget 2024 on 23rd July which reduced the excise duty tax imposed on gold and silver from 15% to 6%.

This announcement from the Finance Minister led to a massive decline of Rs 4000 in gold and silver rates on the next day.
