Visakhapatnam's Coastal Charms Impress U.S. Navy Personnel: A Glimpse of Beach Beauty

U.S. Navy personnel admires the beauty of Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam's Coastal Charms Impress U.S. Navy Personnel: As part of Tiger Triumph-24, a USS Somerset amphibious transport dock of the United States Navy, the crew member said they will never forget their visit to Visakhapatnam and the great experience of participating in the joint exercise with the Indian navy.
During an interview with the media, the crew praised the city and its beaches.
Described by Ashley Ambuehl, a pilot on board the ship, it has over 1,000 sailors and marines, a workshop for repairing boats, and on its flight deck, helicopters can land and be stationed.
There are mementos of Flight 93 on every deck of the ship, including a dedicated passageway leading to the Memorial Room.
As part of the September 11 attacks, four al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001, but the passengers and crew prevented the plane from reaching its intended destination, and it tragically crashed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, at Stoneycreek Township.
In honor of the lives lost on 9/11, Somerset is one of three amphibious transport dock ships of the San Antonio class.
