Vijay Sethupathi Urges Central Government to Add Tamil Language to PAN Website
Sethupathi said at an event that the central government, on behalf of the common man in Tamil Nadu, pointed out that only Hindi and English options are available.

PAN Website: Vijay Sethupathi, the actor, made an appeal to the central government while speaking at the Chennai event. He appealed to incorporating the Tamil language in the PAN website so that people who do not speak either Hindi or English will find it easy to access.

This time he implored the government to provide information and updates about any PAN card applications in Tamil, not limited to just Hindi and English. Tamil speakers face a real problem because, at present, information is available only in these two languages.
This, however, was not the end of his appeals; he pushed for multilingual updates since this might allow quicker access to information for all.

He also reportedly asked the government to assist the regular taxpayer, who is seeing loss of income. A video of his appeal is being circulated on the Internet.
Vijay's latest movies Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas, Nithilan Saminathan's Maharaja, and Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai Part 2 have done well. Indeed, Merry Christmas and Viduthalai Part 2 earned good reviews and an average box office response. On its part, Maharaja became a blockbuster according to Sacnilk, grossing ₹199.2 crore worldwide in its first run. The film was also released in China and went on to earn ₹91.65 crore. The actor will soon be seen in Gandhi Talks, Ace, and Train.
