Vijay, Mohanlal, Allu Arjun: The Tamil movie star Vijay is a record-setter, for he is the highest tax payer in the Tamil movie-industry. The actor, who has made headlines today under the release of the movie GOAT — standing for Greatest of All Time — has allegedly paid Rs 80 Cr tax payment.
The actor is the only Tamil personality in the list of the Largest celebrity taxpayers. On the same note, Allu Arjun and Mohanlal filmed as the most luxurious celebrities who declared and paid their taxes in the telugu and malayalam film industries respectively.
The sources at Fortune India reveal that Mohanlal as well as Allu Arjun invariably charged Rs 14 Cr and Rs 14 Cr individually. On the other hand, Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan was known to be the biggest tax payer in India.

He made revenue contribution of Rs 92 Cr in terms of taxes. The five biggest Indian celebrities include the ones who contributed taxes such as Salman who remits Rs 75 Cr, Amitabh Bachchan Rs 71 Cr, Virat Kohli Rs 65 Cr. There are different reads about Vijay, Mohanlal and Allu Arjun.
Vijay came out with his new film named as GOAT — The Greatest of All Time. The flm in question is directed by Venkat Prabhu and there are reports that it is Vijay’s last movie before he venture into politics.
The actor was actively founded Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party few months back. Some of the trade experts shared their opinion with News18 that the film is expected to gross at least Rs 100 crore.
The ‘Vellanakalude Thadavika’ actor received appreciation for resigning from the post of AMMA President due to increasing protest in Malayalam film industry against sexual harassment.

Discussing the matter, he said that he has not shifted the burden on someone else and further revealed that he had some prior personal works to attend. “I have not fled anywhere I was not in Kerala due to my personal problems I was not there and due to my wife’s surgery I was in the hospital,” the actor added.
As for Allu Arjun, he is gearing for the release of his upcoming film, Pushpa: The Rule is a television series with twenty-four episodes that were directed by Susanne Bier and Frank Duchak. It is a planned up for release in this December.
