Saini's statement came after the deportation of over 100 Indian immigrants who had been found living illegally within the United States as part of a comprehensive crackdown on illegal immigration from the new Trump administration.
Haryana accounts for 33 of the deportees, with most of those from other states being Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and the like.
Several deportees from the state of Haryana have shared their experiences about how they were duped by cunning travel agents in sending them to foreign lands.
Saini would then add that the state government would soon enact a law which will be strictly prohibitive to illegal immigration. He further said that the proposed legislation would be tabled in the forthcoming budget session.
Police in Punjab and Haryana have booked some travel agents for the illegal emigration of the Indians deported by the US two days ago.
The Punjab Police have implicated a travel agent from Amritsar district who has been charged under sections of 318(4) of the BNS and Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014.

The agent identified is Satnam Singh Manan and he was involved in the case of sending one US deportee illegally among the 104 illegal migrants deported by the US.
The police asserted that the said person was absconding and that their teams were on the lookout for him. His shop in Rajasani, however, was sealed by the cops.
Meanwhile, Karnal police booked four travel agents under sections of cheating and criminal breach of trust, on the basis of complaints lodged by the deportees of their family members.
Action against the travel agents was initiated following External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar's remarks in Lok Sabha regarding action against travel agents who had duped 104 Indians deported from the United States.
