UPSC Prelims Result 2025 Soon: Check Civil Services Exam Results at upsc.gov.in
The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, will announce the result for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) Preliminary Exam 2025 shortly.

UPSC Prelims Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission, UPSC, will announce the result for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) Preliminary Exam 2025 shortly. Once declared, candidates who took the exam can view result details at upsc.gov.in. Importantly, the commission conducted the prelims exams across the nation on Sunday May 25, 2025. The examination consisted of two objective-type papers (MCQ) each for a duration of two hours and of 200 marks each.
Also, there would be negative marking for the wrong answers. For each wrong answer, a penalty of one-third (0.33) of the total marks of each question will be deducted.

The prelims exam is only a screening test; therefore, whatever marks scored, they will not be used to determine the final merit list.
- With this recruitment exam, the commission is to recruit for 979 posts including:
- 38 for candidates under the category of Benchmark Disability
- 12 for candidates with Blindness/Low vision
- 7 for candidates with Deaf/ Hard of hearing
- 10 for candidates with Locomotor disabilities
- 9 for candidates with Multiple disabilities including Deaf- Blind
Recruitment includes the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in
- On the home page, click on the link to download the UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2025.
- Log in by entering your credentials and submit.
- Review the displayed result on the screen.
- Download and keep a printout of the same for future use.
