As per reports by NDTV, Vinod Kumar, who is the Mainpuri district police chief, stated that victim’s family has alleged that she was murdered because of her intent to vote for the BJP.
Victim’s father narrates how Prashant had come home three days prior to her death and demanded to know which political party she was intending to vote for in the by-elections.
