Tragic Loss: Liverpool FC Diogo Jota star passes away after being involved in a car accident in Iberia, together with his younger brother; according to Spanish media outlet Marca.
According to the local fire authorities in Zamora, the two deceased men, aged 28 and 26, died of burns sustained after being inside a car that apparently burst in flames after an accident.
According to police, when Reuters asked them, everything indicated that such information was true, but they were not ready to officially confirm the names yet.

The gruesome accident has brought a comparison with the death of Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker that occurred in 2013 as the football world mourns the death of the forward.
Jota who married on June 28 assisted Liverpool to win the premier league last season and also won the FA Cup and the league cup with the Merseyside outfit.
Coming to Anfield in 2020, Jota scored 65 goals in 182 matches in all competitions with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Walker was appearing as co-driver in a Porsche Carrera GT when it hit a pole, a tree and then caught fire. It was driven by his friend Roger Rodas. The two men lost their lives in the scene.
The bodies had been taken to the morgue, and told by the Civil Guard. "Everything points to the blowout of a tyre while it (the vehicle) was overtaking," the Civil Guard said in a statement.
