Tamannaah Bhatia Questioned by ED: Tamannaah Bhatia, who is famous for her role in Bahubali, went to Guwahati on Thursday to meet with the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
The Enforcement Department (ED) called her in because they say she encouraged illegal streaming of Indian Premier League (IPL) games on a sister app to the Mahadev online gaming and betting app.
It was about 1:30 PM when Tamannah and her mother arrived at the ED office in Guwahati. She is still being questioned as this story is being written.

The actress was called in for reportedly encouraging people to watch Indian Premier League (IPL) games on the Fairplay betting app.
FairPlay is a website where you can bet on sports and other events in a lot of different ways.

Last year, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) called actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor to ask them about the Mahadev betting app. The actors had been in ads for the app.

The case was being looked into by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the same time as other Bollywood actors were being questioned because of a crackdown on betting and gaming apps by different government agencies.
The investigation team called Shraddha Kapoor in October 2023 to talk about the Mahadev betting app case. In the same month, the ED also called Ranbir Kapoor in.
Kapil Sharma was also called because he had been to an event put together by the app's founder, Saurabh Chandrakar.
Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan were asked to promote the app, and the agencies wanted to know what their part was and how much they were paid, which the ED said was money from crime.
