Sunil Gavaskar Roasts Harry Brook After England’s Exit: ‘Were Lahore Lights Fine?’
England collapsed to deflation on their way home as Harry Brook and Ben Duckett were yet critically roast by some fans after their outfits had dismissed the ICC Champions Trophy and eliminated them from the tournament following a defeat to Afghanistan.

Sunil Gavaskar Roasts Harry Brook After England’s Exit: England have failed for the second time in three ICC tournaments to proceed to the knockouts. Point of no return seems to be where they seem to be stuck currently, since some of the greats are now calling for a complete overhaul in their ODI-play template. This is a revolution in format, which began under Eoin Morgan and was quickly picked up by other sides. However, Jos Buttler’s team has not been transformed after that revolution. England is wrestling with issues concerning squad selection, form and gears of a harbor or even a captain that are around 15-20 years old and at the moment, many of these issues have no lunar age in the solution.

Having suffered their second defeat in as many ICC events to Afghanistan, England can now boast not one but two exclusions, the Champions Trophy being lost because of the consecutive defeats to Australia; Bangladesh had sung the first requiem.
Obviously, the loss has opened the floodgates of suspicions, with Michael Vaughan, Michael Atherton, and Nasser Hussain already having expressed their disaffection with the current bunch of cricketers. Sunil Gavaskar could not be too far behind with condemnation.
Gavaskar's comment was actually about Brooks, who offered a ridiculous statement on behalf of England, thick with thick words about 'smog' during the T20 internationals that India hosted last month on his land. India won the series opener against England, and that led to a wonderful representation right in front of Brook in his role as vice-captain.

He wasn't the only one, though; Ben Duckett, England's vice-captain, was put in the eye of the storm for a statement made back in India 2016. England were failing 0-3 after 0-2 in a best-of-three-game series with Duckett saying both he and the team don't care if they lose to the hosts 0-3-as long as they 'beat India in the final' in the Champions Trophy. Well, time has showed the statement hasn't aged well, as India has been proceeding to the semi-finals-level game and England with their ticket back home.

But even with the return of the England opener, you will still continue to perform well. He did very well with the bat and the gender services, to be honest, I vouch to stop the supporters from throwing it on his face.
Here is some of the feedback:
Shame on Afghanistan for ruining Ben Duckett's dream of defeating India in the final after being whitewashed in bilateral series.

Feeling bad for Ben Duckett, he wanted to knock India out in the knockouts but the mighty Afghanistan knocked them out in the first round itself. ???????? pic.twitter.com/7FHH4pwMWV

Dear Ben Duckett, if you want to defeat India then reach the next round first.

Respect the nation where you are touring. As Ravi Shastri said- Take Subcontinent seriously. pic.twitter.com/UnpMGByMNK
Duckett did well in this tournament and felt pleased when he was able to hit against the high-powered Australians to record a personal best; he had compiled to gain 165 in his career up to this moment and made a seemingly unconfident fight.
