Special Trains for Lord Vitthal Devotees: To provide support for the pilgrimage of devotees to Pandharpur for the 'darshan' of Lord Vitthal, the South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a special train service for them between Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru and Pandharpur stations.

The Pandharpur pilgrimage is performed on the Aashadi Ekadashi (June- July) and Kartiki / Kartik Ekadashi (November).

As per the official reports, the train number, number of stops, timings and everything has been announced. Below we have mentioned all the details that you should know.

Trains Details

Train no: 06297/06298 – SMVT Bengaluru to Pandharpur

It will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 22:00 on July 1st, 3rd, and 6th.

The train will arrive at Pandharpur at 18:00 the next day and will carry out the return journey from Pandharpur at 20:00 on the 2nd, 4th, and 7th July.

The train will arrive at SMVT Bengaluru around 12:30 the following day

Train No. 06295/06296 – SMVT Bengaluru to Pandharpur

It will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 22:00 on July 2nd, 5th, and 7th.

The train will arrive at Pandharpur at 18:00 the next day and will carry out the return journey from Pandharpur at 20:00 on the 3rd, 6th, and 8th July.

The train will arrive at SMVT Bengaluru around 12:30 the following day

These special trains will make stops at various stations, such as Arsikere, Beerur, Chikkajajur, Davanagere, Harihara, Ranibennur, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, Khanapur, Belagavi, Gokak Road, Ghataprabha, Rayabaga, Chinchali, Ugarkhurd, Miraj, Kavathe-Mahankal, Dhalagaon, and Sangole.
