Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 9: Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna Film Joins ₹200 Crore Club Worldwide
Sikandar's worldwide box office collection day 9: Quite frankly, after lukewarm reviews and a shaky start, the AR Murugadoss film broke the barrier of ₹200 crores.

Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 9: This AR Murugadoss production did not do too well at the box office and had somewhat unsatisfactory reviews and openings that could not exactly hold up against what was expected of a Salman Khan feature film. However, according to the production house Nadiadwala Grandson, the film went into the club of ₹200 crores by day 9.
The producer posted on Instagram that Sikandar collected ₹200.93 crore worldwide by day 9. The film actually made ₹2.48 crore gross in India on Monday and ₹1 crore overseas to finally take it over the barrier. “Thank you for making #Sikandar a part of your celebration. We’re grateful for the love,” read the post's caption. Fans were thrilled that it actually crossed the ₹200 crore mark within 10 days.

Total worldwide collection in nine days therefore stands at ₹171.65 crore. The film has fared better than Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which managed ₹158 crore worldwide in nine days. Sikandar is the Indian film that has grossed highest so far this year. However, it has to contend with Sankranthiki Vasthunam at ₹255.2 crores, L2 Empuraan (over ₹257 crores), and Chhaava (over ₹800 crores). It is likely to beat Sankranthiki Vasthunam and make a run for third place soon.
Sikandar projects the story of a raja Sanjay Rajkot facing a corrupt politician and turning around his life. Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna along with Sanjay Kapoor are there in the film. The film faced brick-bats for its direction as well as performances.
