The protest Junior doctors demanded immediate punishment for the culprit and safety assurance, the protest will not die until the the students are completely satisfied. City Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal visited the college for the 3rd time on Sunday to have a conversation with the students and said that the investigation is completely transparent, so as not to spread any rumors.
The early news from the autopsy report says that the victim retained injuries on the left leg, neck, right hand, ring finger, and lips. The victim was maybe killed before getting raped.
" The autopsy report has been handed over to the parents of the deceased doctor today by one of our senior officers. We had a fruitful meeting with the students and we think they are satisfied. Mamta has declared an all-out investigation against the victim. The West Bengal government has appointed a dog squad, video department, and forensic team for the case. Mamta has set a deadline if that reaches the case will be handed over to CBI. Mamta is on edge maybe because of the Bangladesh incident but she has declared speedy justice for the victim and removed the principal, Head of Department, Medical Superintendent cum Vice Principal, and the Assistant Superintendent of Police from the hospital from their posts.
But the question is what has the government done to prevent this kind of incident, Haven't we been living in a loop that one of a hundred incidents will come into the spotlight and then will die solving the short-term problems? A few days before a guy was beheaded on the streets of Kolkata in front of people, I don't know caused have been arrested or not but why would such incidents happen if the safest city in India has this safety standard then we are doomed.
I can see myself writing the same article about a similar type of incident next year too 1 Case will intrigue people and the politician will create a facade of being responsible and then the people will go back to commenting sexual ASSAULT threats on a minor's Instagram post.
