Alia Jokingly Threatens to ‘Dhop’ Ranbir: A humorous advertisement has taken the internet by storm, featuring Alia Bhatt's character Safeena discussing her relationship woes with Ranbir Kapoor (Bunny) to Shah Rukh Khan (Dr Jehangir).
SRK, Ranbir and Alia are back together for a new ad that’s full of humor, nostalgia and iconic characters. In the video posted on a steel brand’s Instagram handle, the trio gets into their old avatars to give marriage counselling a funny twist.
SRK is back as Dr. Jehangir Khan from Dear Zindagi (2016), Alia is Safeena from Gully Boy (2019) and Ranbir is Bunny from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013).

The playful banter between Alia and Shah Rukh has captivated audiences, with Safeena even threatening to "dhoptuingi" (beat up) Ranbir's character. The ad cleverly blends humour and charm, highlighting the undeniable chemistry between the trio.
In the advertisement, Alia's Safeena (from Gully Boy) hilariously complains to SRK's Dr Jehangir (from Dear Zindagi) about her on-screen (and off-screen) husband, Ranbir's Bunny (from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani). The ad begins with SRK enquiring about the couple's married life.
Alia replies, "I asked him to get ice, but he went to Ladakh instead. When I asked him why he was so busy, he said, 'The mountains were calling.' Well, if he's going to flirt with the mountains, I'll have to teach him a lesson!" she vents, channelling her fiery Gully Boy persona.

Dr. Jehangir comes up with a quirky solution and hands them a steel rod to fix their home which Bunny had damaged while rock climbing. The video seamlessly integrates the brand’s product into the storyline while keeping the essence of each character intact.
On the work front, all three actors have a lot in store. SRK will be seen in King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, with Suhana Khan reportedly being a part of the cast. He will also be lending his voice to Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King, releasing in India on December 20.
Ranbir has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia and Vicky Kaushal releasing on March 20, 2026. He also has Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic Ramayana in the works. Alia has Love and War and the spy film Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, releasing on December 25, 2025.
