Shah Rukh Khan Skips Birthday Balcony Appearance: Every year on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan follows a tradition he has been doing for years now, stepping out onto the balcony of his Mumbai home, Mannat, to wave at the sea of fans who gather outside to catch a glimpse of their beloved “Badshah of Bollywood” on occasions like Eid and his birthday.

This is an annual ritual where SRK, often accompanied by his youngest son AbRam, acknowledges the love of his fans. Father and son wave at the cheering crowd and it’s a lovely sight every year.

But this year on his 59th birthday, SRK decided to skip this ritual and fans were left wondering why. He didn’t explain the reason behind his absence but made sure his fans knew they weren’t forgotten. He attended a fan event hosted by his fan clubs in Bandra, Mumbai.

Later in the evening, he posted a photo of himself in his signature arms-outstretched pose with a sea of fans at the event. He was wearing a violet T-shirt, beanie and sunglasses. He thanked everyone for coming and making his evening special.

He wrote, “Thank you for coming over and making my evening special… my love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love."

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s wife Gauri Khan gave a glimpse into his birthday celebrations with her, Suhana and their friends.

On Saturday evening, Gauri Khan posted a picture from Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on her Instagram. The picture was from their home Mannat. It was a picture of Shah Rukh Khan cutting the birthday cake with Gauri and Suhana on either side of him. She captioned the picture: It was a lovely evening with the people we love.
