Sajjan Verma’s Controversial Remark: Sajjan Singh Verma senior Madhya Pradesh Congress leader gave a controversial comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi he said that like Bangladesh, one day Indians will day storm Prime Minister Narendra Modi's house and occupy it.

On Monday, the Congress leader commented when thousands of protesters in Bangladesh destroyed Sheikh Hasina's official residence in Dhaka. This incident happened after she resigned as prime minister and left for India.

Congress senior leader Sajjan Singh Verma said TV channels were reporting that during the civil discontentment in the neighbouring country, people from Bangladesh are entering the Prime Minister’s official residence. PM Sheikh Hasina was removed from office because of the wrong policies.

"Remember Narendra Modi ji, one day, people will enter the prime minister's residence because of your wrong policies and will occupy it (PM house). It happened recently in Sri Lanka (in 2022), where people entered the Prime Minister's (President's) house, and then in Bangladesh and now it is India's turn," the former state minister said, according to PTI.

At the time of protest, he was declaimed to Congress workers which was organised against the scams in the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).

Verma's comments made the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) angry. As they wanted to register a case against the Congress leader due to his language which was "anti-national."

Saugat Mishra, BJYM Indore city president addressed that Verma has hurt the sentiments of 140 crore Indians, as he was the representative to the officials at the MG Road police station.

The Political Future of Indian Muslims, Khurshid said, “Everything may look normal in Kashmir. Everything may look normal here. We may be celebrating the victory, although of course, some people believe that that victory or that success of 2024 was perhaps only marginal, perhaps a lot more needs to be done,” spoke at the launch of academic Mujibur Rehman's book Shikwa-e-Hind:

"The fact remains that under the surface there is something," he said.

"What's happening in Bangladesh can happen here... the spread in our country prevents things blowing up in the manner in which they've blown up in Bangladesh," he added.

The Congress party and Khurshid were shut down by the leaders of BJP for his remarks, he was called a leader of “anarchists."
