Saif Ali Khan Stabbing : New CCTV Shows Intruder, Doctors Call Him a ‘Lion

Saif Ali Khan Stabbing: In a new video, which emerged on Friday, the suspect who allegedly stabbed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence, can be seen climbing stairs.

The footage (the time-stamped 1:37 AM) shows the man climbing the stairs cautiously so as not to alert the neighbours. In the video, we can see the attacker's face is covered and is carrying a school bag.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked on Thursday morning during a "burglary attempt" in the apartment housed in 'Satguru Sharan' building in Mumbai's Bandra.

Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said: "I was the first doctor who saw him first. Saif walked in like a lion. Taimur accompanied him. He's currently doing well. We have shifted him from ICU to a special room." He added that the actor's movements are restricted due to the injury in the spine and it has a potential charge of infection. Henceforth, they have restricted visitors movement.

A piece of Hexa blade was removed from Saif after he was stabbed multiple times during an attempted robbery.

Going by the reports, Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a 2.5-inch knife by an assailant at his Bandra house during the wee hours of 16th January 2025. He was stabbed multiple times during his attempt to fight off a burglar. He sustained six stab wounds, two of which are closer to his spine.

The doctors have reportedly removed the 2.5 inches of knife from his wound. Saif Ali Khan underwent surgery and has now been shifted to the ICU. Saif Ali Khan is believed to be recovering well.

Mumbai Police detained the attacker after over 30 hours of manhunt by multiple police teams. As visuals surfaced this morning, the arrested suspect was seen being taken to Bandra police station.

Details of his identity are yet to be known but police sources claim that he is the one who broke into the residence of Saif and Kareena’s Bandra house in the wee hours of Thursday.
