Welcome Baby Boy: Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh welcomed a baby boy last night; according to reports, it has not been officially announced yet.
Sharma had taken paternity leave to be with his wife during the last leg of her pregnancy.
Social media was flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple, and the baby has been named “Junior Hitman” after his father, who is called “Hitman” by his fans.

Sharma was supposed to miss the first Test against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but since it’s on November 22, fans are speculating he might just make it.
Rohit is not in Australia with the Indian team as he was waiting for the birth of his second child. They already have a daughter, Samaira, born in 2018.
Rohit and family could make the news official soon.

Meanwhile, the captain did not travel to Australia with the team for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, and reports claimed that he might as well miss the initial matches of the tournament.
However, fresh reports claimed that he would be playing all five test matches of the marquee test series down under.
Whether Rohit will join the team for the first Test against Australia on November 22nd in Perth is still unclear.
The short time frame leaves little room for practice before the match.
"At the moment there's no confirmation. Hopefully, he will be available. We'll let you know," Gambhir said at a press conference.
He did confirm that if Rohit misses the first Test match, vice captain and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will lead the team.
This would also mean a chance for newcomer Abhimanyu Easwaran. "If Rohit is not available, we have got (Abhimanyu) Easwaran and KL (Rahul) in Australia. We will take a call," Gambhir said.
