Rajnath Singh Criticizes Opposition Amid Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: Considering the opposition's claims that the BJP has been misusing agencies and arresting opposition leaders, Rajnath Singh attacked the opposition for its response to Arvind Kejriwal's arrest.
Rajnath Singh wondered why the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader didn't get relief from the courts.
"Even if it is assumed that Arvind Kejriwal went to jail because of us, why is he not getting relief? Have we taken control of the courts also? What are these people trying to say? Let them have the audacity to say we have captured courts also...is it possible?" Rajnath Singh told ANI.
Kejriwal and Soren were arrested separately by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which has outraged opposition parties.

Kejriwal and other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, are currently in custody.
Also in jail is Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha.
Singh says the Opposition can seek protection from courts if they think their leaders are being jailed for baseless allegations.
Rajnath Singh pointed out that if Sanjay Singh got bail, why couldn't other leaders?

Several courts have denied bail applications for Manish Sisodia, another party colleague.
In addition, he addressed the Congress party's accusations that the BJP engages in "washing machine" politics, by which corrupt leaders are cleared once they join the ruling party.
In response, Singh asserted that the agencies are performing their duties independently and not acting on instructions from the government.
According to Rajnath Singh, Congress leaders are joining the BJP because the party has failed to fulfill its original objectives.
He stated, “Family is running the party, that is why Congress is getting into this bad situation”.
Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, responsible individuals must uphold the principles of a healthy democracy.
Rajnath Singh says the Opposition doesn't trust the courts.
