PM Modi’s Advice: Boost Social Media Engagement Beyond Reposting
On Saturday after inaugurating the B wing of the INS Towers (Indian Newspaper Society) in Bandra-Kurla Complex.

On Saturday after inaugurating the B wing of the INS Towers (Indian Newspaper Society) in Bandra-Kurla Complex. The Tower is 1.25 lakh sq ft of space which consists of the offices of several INS an 85-year-old institution. CM Eknath Shinde, deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar also joined him for the occasion.

Narendra Modi said "INS came into existence well before Independence and its work has benefited many people. I congratulate INS on this large, modern building which will bring ease of working to the industry." after inaugurating the new building of INS which going to ease the work of the employees there and make journalism more efficient.

Prime Minister discussed how crucial is the role of media in a country "Media is not a mute spectator to the happenings in the country. It is also responsible for bringing about change and granting direction. The citizens of a nation who gain confidence in their capabilities begin to achieve new heights of success. This is happening in India today,"

He continued by praising the journalism of India and telling them how important they are for the country and urged them to increase their social media outreach by creating content in languages that are recognized by the United Nations.

The PM of India said "The media makes people aware of their rights and their capabilities. It deserves credit for promoting the government programs like Digital India by which our digital payments system has become a model for other countries. Jan Dhan Yojna helped 50 crore people open a bank account." basically saying that the Media should make people aware of their rights and facilities the Government has launched for its citizens.

INS president Rakesh Sharma praised The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for how he is a boon to the nation and drew his attention to the problems the Industry has been facing including change in advertising policy. INS former president Mohit Jain said INS has always supported freedom of the press and sought the support of the PM to Uphold it.
