Addressing the centenary celebrations of Jain spiritual leader Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, PM Modi said, “Whoever challenges us (Jo hume chedega)...,” prompting the audience to complete the sentence with slogans. “...I didn’t even say half of the sentence, and you completed it,” he added.
Acharya Pragya Sagar praised the Modi government for the decisions taken during its tenure, including scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A, publishing the new map of UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and Operation Sindoor launched by India at 2 am on May 7 after Pahalgam terror strike in which 26 people were killed.

“Despite not saying it in words, maybe you were giving your blessings to Operation Sindoor,” PM Modi said.
PM also reiterated the 9 resolutions for a self reliant and prosperous India: conserve water, plant trees, keep the country clean, support local entrepreneurs, travel within the country to explore its cultural heritage, promote organic farming, adopt healthy lifestyle, do yoga and sports and support the underprivileged.
He paid tribute to Acharya Vidhan for his contributions to Jainism.

He also paid homage to Acharya Vidhan for his service to the official service.
He also paid homage to Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj for his works on the official Jain flag and emblem, restoration of ancient Jain temples across India, and promotion of the Prakrit language.
The centenary of Acharya Vidyanand Maharaj will be observed from June 28 to April 22, 2026, with a series of cultural, literary, educational, and spiritual events across the country as announced by the Union Culture Ministry. The inaugural function was attended by Jain Acharyas, spiritual leaders, MPs, and scholars.
