PM Modi Meets Shashi Tharoor, All-Party Delegation on Operation Sindoor
After Operation Sindoor, Centre announced a total of seven all-party delegations consisting of members of the Union government's ruling NDA alliance and the opposition INDIA alliance.

PM Modi Meets Shashi Tharoor: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with members of the all-party delegations that participated in the global outreach programme on Operation Sindoor on Tuesday. At 7 Lok Kalayan Marg, the prime minister met with Shashi Tharoor of the Congress party, Sanjay Jha (JD(U)) and others.
As a part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian government announced seven all-party delegations whose members were from the ruling NDA alliance and the opposition INDIA group.

The leading members of the seven delegations that travelled to several countries in the world were BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijyant Panda, Congress' Shashi Tharoor, JD(U)'s Sanjay Jha, Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde, DMK's Kanimozhi, and NCP (SP)'s Supriya Sule. The delegations were meant to travel to convey India's policy of zero tolerance for terrorism.
"Met members of the various delegations who represented India in different countries and elaborated on India's commitment to peace and the need to eradicate the menace of terrorism. We are all proud of the manner in which they put forward India's voice," stated Modi on X.
Before the prime minister's meet, external affairs minister Dr S Jaishankar had met with the process of engaging with an all-party delegation and the foreign policy is immaterial who are participating in the delegations after they returned to India.

7 delegations, over 50 people, 33 countries
The delegations were comprised of over 50 people, the majority being current Members of Parliament and former Members of Parliament and diplomats. The 7 delegations comprised ruling party members and opposition members who travelled to 33 foreign capitals and the political level at the European Union (EU) to communicate India's position on terrorism.
The delegations traveled to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria, the United Kingdom (UK), France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Liberia, Congo, Sierra Leone, United States of America (USA), Panama, Guyana, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, Russia, Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, South Africa, and the European Union (EU).
The delegations were formed soon after India's military conflict with Pakistan as a result of Operation Sindoor. Operation Sindoor was a military strike against the terror bases located across the border in Pakistan due to the Pahalgam attack. Operation Sindoor led to a significant increase in tensions with Pakistan.
