PM Modi: Congress Opposes Uniform Civil Code: On Friday Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two rallies in Punjab and two public meetings in Himachal Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha election phase sixth.
PM Modi on Friday gave a speech at a rally in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi in which he accused the Congress of opposing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and supporting the Sharia Law.
While addressing his public meeting in Himachal Pradesh Modi introduced the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) which will be applicable to every caste whether it is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, or Buddhist.
PM Modi said while addressing the rally that "Modi has pledged to a Uniform Civil Code. Indian citizens, whether they are Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian or Buddhist, should have uniform civil laws. But Congress is opposing the Uniform Civil Code. Congress supports Sharia in the name of Muslim Personal Law."

Modi told the people of Mandi that they should respond properly to the Congress for calling the Kangana Ranaut and other idols names, which he said was an insult to Mandi and Himachal Pradesh.
He also said that Congress has insulted Kangana Ranaut many times by ringing up Mandi is an insult to Mandi, “an insult to Choti Kashi, an insult to Himachal, and an insult to every daughter of Himachal.”
In an earlier speech in Haryana on Thursday, PM Modi also said a similar thing that Congress has split the Country into India and two Muslim entities to get more votes, and the INDIA Alliance is saying that Muslims have the authority to rule over the rest of India,"
Even Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressing a rally in Amroha On April 22 said that the Congress's election plans to bring Sharia law to the country and share people's wealth and have betrayed the nation.
Phrase 6 of the Lok Sabha Election 024 will big on May 25 in 58 Constituencies and Phrase 7 will begin on June 1, 2024.
