PM-KISAN 17th Installment Today: PM Kisan's scheme's 17th installment is all set to be released today, on June 18 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 17th installment will bring an amount of over Rs 20,000 crore which will provide aid to 9.26 crore farmers' families.

PM Modi along with the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the government of Uttar Pradesh will announce the PM Kisan's scheme's 17th installment during his Varanasi on June 18.

How to Check PM-KISAN Beneficiary Status Online?

To check the beneficiary status, you need to follow below-mentioned steps:

1. First, you have to visit the official website of PM Kisan i.e. pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Look for the Farmers Corner option and click on it.
3. After you have clicked on it, then Beneficiary Status.
4. You will then be redirected to a new page where you have to give your Aadhaar or bank account number details.
5. After filling in the details click on ‘Get Data.’
6. Your Beneficiary Status will appear on the screen.

However, to get your payment you have to complete e-KYC. You can pick between biometric-based e-KYC and OTP-based e-KYC, it’s up to you.

About PM-KISAN Scheme

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme was first launched in February 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and provided over one crore farmer families an amount of Rs 2,000 every four months up to Rs 6,000 in a year.

All the farmers who own land in their name are eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

How new farmers can register for the PM Kisan Scheme?

To register for the PM Kisan Scheme, follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the official website of PM Kisan i.e. pmkisan.gov.in.
• On the homepage, you will find the “New Farmer Registration” option on the top right side.
• After you click on it, fill in all the details and get OTP.
• Then fill in your personal details such as name, address, bank account number, etc.
• After you have filled all the columns, review your details carefully.
• Then, click on the ‘Submit’ option to submit your registration form.
• After submission, you will get a reference number, keep the reference number and save it for future reference.

However, your registration form will be under review by authorities, you can later check your status in the ‘Beneficiary Status” option.
