Parliament LIVE: Amit Shah Says Op Sindoor Exposed Pakistan, and 3 Pahalgam Terrorists Killed in Operation Mahadev

In Op Mahadev, 3 terrorists have been neutralized by Army, CRPF and J&K Police, says Amit Shah in Lok Sabha.

Parliament LIVE: In Op Mahadev, 3 terrorists have been neutralized by Army, CRPF and J&K Police, says Amit Shah in Lok Sabha.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has confirmed that the three terrorists neutralized in Operation Mahadev were involved in Pahalgam Attack which killed 26 people. Shah’s address in Lok Sabha has restarted the Operation Sindoor debate in Parliament. Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 PM as it prepares for 16 hour long debate on Indian military strike.

Operation Mahadev was launched on May 22, 2025, said Amit Shah in Lok Sabha. He added that he reached Srinagar by 5:30 PM and a high level security meeting was held in the evening where it was decided that terrorists must not be allowed to escape the country.

During Lok Sabha session for Operation Sindoor, Indian Army announced Operation Mahadev in which three terrorists affiliated to Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Taiba were “neutralized” in an intense firefight. Shah said all three killed in Op Mahadev were “A-Grade” terrorists on NIA’s radar.

“In a joint Operation Mahadev, the Indian Army, CRPF, and J&K Police have neutralised three terrorists who were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. Innocent civilians were killed in front of their families by asking their religion. I condemn this barbaric act. I express my sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones,” Shah said while addressing the lower house.

“All three terrorists - Suleman, Afghan and Jibran were killed in yesterday's operation. While Suleman was an A-category commander of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, Afghani was also an A-category Lashkar-e-Taiba terroris, Jibran too was a notorious and wanted terrorist. All these three terrorists involved in the killing of our citizens at Baisaran valley in Pahalgam have now been eliminated," Shah specified in a special session on Operation Sindoor.

As Opposition MPs protested during his address in Lok Sabha, Union Home Minister Amit Shah told them, “Terrorists got killed and you are not happy? You should be celebrating.” He asked MP Akhilesh Yadav to let him finish his address and show facts about Operation Mahadev.

Amit Shah briefs on ground situation of Jammu-Kashmir. “Between 2004-2014, there were 7200 terror incidents, 714 civilians died, 1068 security personnel died. Between 2015-2025, 1525 terror incidents occured, 324 civilians died, 542 security personnel died and number of terrorists killed has increased by 162%,” lists Mr. Shah.He said revocation of Article 370 has destroyed terror infrastructure in J&K and no talks will be held with Hurriyat as it is a ‘terror group’.

Security forces in Harwan area near Dachigam National Park of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir neutralized three terrorists after intense firefight.
