Odisha Rapper ‘Juggernaut’ Dies by Suicide in Bengaluru: Abhinav Singh, aka Juggernaut, age 32, was reported to have died by suicide in his rented apartment in Kadubeesanahalli in Bengaluru, as per the information given to PTI by the police.

The police say that the incident happened on the night of February 9.

This news came just days after Juggernaut had moved to Bengaluru. The rapper worked for a private company.

The police say that Abhinav returned to his room after dinner with his roommate, allegedly took poison, and committed suicide.

"We do not yet know what kind of poison he consumed and are awaiting a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory," an unidentified police officer was quoted as saying by PTI.

While PTI reports, citing a senior police officer, that no suicide note was found in Abhinav's apartment, his mother asserted in local media that there was a handwritten note, which has been collected by the Bengaluru Police.

They further informed that, according to the family, Abhinav's wife continuously harassed him, and they had lodged a complaint regarding the same at an Odisha police station.

As per local media, Abhinav's marriage went through rough patches after the rapper was allegedly caught with another woman in a hotel at Bhubaneswar last year.

In the news program, NDTV reported that Abhinav's wife entered the hotel premises with police personnel and recorded the entire emergency. The incident was widely circulated on social media.

On the other hand, Abhinav's wife refuted his charges of harassment, telling NDTV that the couple was in the process of trying to work things out and that they were speaking on the phone.

"These are baseless allegations. His family knows I loved and cared for him," Abhinav's wife told NDTV. "I had moved out of my in-laws' house, but I loved Abhinav and wanted nothing but the best for him in life."
