“No Longer With Company”: A 30-year-old senior associate consultant at Infosys, who was arrested and later released on bail for filming a female colleague in the women’s toilet at the company’s Bengaluru campus, has confessed to recording at least one more woman in the same manner, said the Electronic City police on Wednesday.
Nagesh Swapnil Mali, who works at Infosys, was caught by the woman employee on Monday.
In the First Information Report (FIR), the woman said she noticed suspicious activity in the toilet cubicle next to her and found Nagesh filming her. She immediately raised an alarm, and other employees rushed to the spot and caught Mali. His mobile phone was found to have the video footage, which was later deleted by HR personnel in her presence.

On checking Mali’s phone, HR staff found a video of the complainant and another video of a different woman employee. The accused apologised repeatedly and deleted the videos, but not before HR personnel took screenshots as proof.
The woman later approached the Electronic City police. A case was registered under the IT Act and Section 77 (Voyeurism) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, reported.
“Based on the complaint, we have arrested the man. Further investigation is underway,” the news agency quoted a senior police officer.
