NIA Arrests Mastermind Muzammil Shareef in Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Case: Massive raids across multiple locations in three states have led to the arrest of a key conspirator behind the March 1 explosion at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru.
On Thursday, news agency ANI reported that Muzammil Shareef had been arrested following raids across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
NIA teams raided 18 locations on Wednesday, including 12 in Karnataka, 5 in Tamil Nadu, and one in Uttar Pradesh, and picked up Muzammil Shareef as a co-conspirator.
NIA investigations revealed that Muzammil Shareef had provided logistical support to the other two defendants...Numerous digital devices were seized, along with cash, during the searches.
NIA took over the case on March 3 after the Karnataka Police identified Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain as the main suspect.
Taha is also wanted in other cases, according to the probe agency's statement.
"Both the men are on the run," the NIA added.
In the case of a cafe explosion that took place at ITPL Road in Bengaluru's Brookefield, key conspirator Muzammil Shareef provided logistical support to the other two identified suspects. In the blast, which damaged the hotel extensively, several customers and hotel staff members were injured, some of them grievously.

According to the NIA statement, raids were conducted at the homes of all three accused, as well as at other suspects' homes and shops.
During the searches, digital devices and cash were recovered by the federal probe agency.
As part of its earlier announcement, the NIA released CCTV images and videos of the suspected bomber and offered a reward of $10 lakh.
