MiG-29 Fighter Jet Crashes in Rajasthan Due to Technical Snag; Pilot Safe

MiG-29 Fighter Jet Crashes in Rajasthan: A Mig-29 fighter jet which was on a training mission met with an accident near the Barmer area in Rajasthan on Monday because of a technical snag. It is a pilot and there are no accidents; it can be as if there is only no human life or property lost on the ground.
“During a routine night training mission in Barmer sector, an IAF MiG-29 encountered a critical technical snag, forcing the pilot to eject. The pilot is safe and no loss of life or property was reported. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered,” the Indian Air Force said in an X post.
Barmer's superintendent of police Narendra Meena told PTI,"The plane crashed tonight in Barmer. The incident happened away from a populated area. Fire tenders have not been able to reach the crash site due to difficult terrain."

Apparently, from an Air Force base in the Barmer sector the fighter jet was on a routine training when it developed a problem, and shortly after crashing into a field near Uttarlai in Barmer which was uninhabited it caught fire.
The mishap had occurred on June 4 in which a Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter of the IAF crashed near Shirasgaon village of Niphad tehsil in Nashik at around 1. 20 pm. Pilot and co-pilot seats had opened and both the individuals had bailed out safely.

According to the report the aircraft stalled and then it immediately caught fire which was put out. As was seen, some parts of the jet were spread over a radius of 500 metres. IAF and HAL security and technical wings teams had also gone to the crash site Teams of IAF and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited HAL security and technical wings.
In March this year the Tejas aircraft had crashed near Jaisalmer during an operational training exercise. Fortunately the pilot had parachuted successfully prior to the mishap.
"One Tejas aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident at Jaisalmer, today during an operational training sortie. The pilot ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to find out the cause of the accident," the IAF had said in a statement.
