Meghalaya Murder: The web surrounding the shocking murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi is tightening, as police are now revealing not only the motive but also the individuals involved in the plot. A significant development in the case is the first public appearance of Raj Kushwaha, the man believed to be at the heart of a deadly love triangle.
Additional DCP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya said, "They were presented before the CJM Judge, and Shillong police got 7-day transit remand. The fourth accused, Anand, is being brought to Indore from Sagar, Bina; all four will be taken to Shillong by Shillong Police..."
Complicating matters further is the arrest of a third suspect, Vishal, whose photo has also come to light. Both Raj and Vishal are currently under interrogation. In addition, a fourth individual named Anand was apprehended by police in Bina, Madhya Pradesh.

Sources indicate that after Raja’s murder, Anand fled to his ancestral village, Basari, near Bina. Acting on a tip-off, Meghalaya Police, in collaboration with Bina SDOP Nitesh Patel, arrested Anand at his home.
Despite being in custody, Sonam continues to assert her innocence, claiming she is a victim rather than a perpetrator. Her father has also come to her defense, insisting that she has been unjustly accused.
Meanwhile, the three main suspects—Raj, Vishal, and Anand—have all undergone medical examinations at the Indore district hospital. They are expected to be presented in court soon, after which Meghalaya Police will likely take them to Sohra for further questioning on transit remand.

Raja’s brother links Sonam and Raj Kushwaha
Vipul Raghuvanshi had earlier told ANI that Raj Kushwaha was often in touch with Sonam over the phone. “I had no idea about those 3–4 people till the time I did not know their names... Raj Kushwaha's name has come forward, which means Sonam can be involved in the murder... Raj Kushwaha was Sonam's employee. They would constantly talk on the phone,” he said.Vipul also added that he was unaware of how the couple planned their Meghalaya trip. “They were only supposed to go to Assam to offer prayers at Maa Kamakhya Temple. After that, they said they were heading to Shillong. We don't know who out of the two planned their visit to Meghalaya. They did not book any return tickets,” he said.
