What do exit polls say?
Two exit polls had predicted a clear majority for Mahayuti in Maharashtra. But analysts warn against reading too much into initial trends as counting starts with postal ballots.
Then comes the EVM results. Postal ballots allow eligible voters who cannot vote in person on election day to vote remotely or in advance.
Similarly in Jharkhand, exit polls are saying NDA is leading which is in line with early trends. But exit polls are not always true as final and accurate results will be declared by ECI only after counting.
