Stage IV Cancer Recovery: Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu shared the miraculous recovery story of his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu who survived Stage IV cancer despite being given only 3% chance of survival.
Sidhu said his wife underwent most of her treatment in government hospitals, including Government Rajendra Medical College in Patiala, for just a few lakhs.
Navjot Kaur has been battling cancer for over 1 year. But she faced the disease with courage. She told how doctors had lost hope in the third stage itself. Navjot Kaur said after her son’s marriage her cancer relapsed and she doubted her survival.

Along with her treatment Sidhu stressed on her discipline and lifestyle changes including a strict diet which played a major role in her recovery.
According to a reporter her daily routine included lemon water, raw turmeric, apple cider vinegar, neem leaves, and tulsi and Sour fruits and juices made from pumpkin, pomegranate, amla, beetroot, and walnuts were added to her diet.

She also consumed anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer foods, with cooking restricted to coconut oil, cold-pressed oils or almond oil. Her morning tea had cinnamon, cloves, jaggery and cardamom.
Sidhu said, 'In case of cancer, keep a gap between meal times, do not eat sweets, do not eat carbohydrates, then cancer cells start dying automatically. Eat dinner by 6 pm and start the day by drinking lemon water at 10 am the next day. After this, chew and eat 10-12 neem leaves.'
He followed the same diet and lifestyle with his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, his fatty liver problem got cured and he lost 25 kg.
