Kolkata Rape-Murder Case: When the West Bengal government called the striking doctors for talks to end their ‘cease work’ strike, the protesters responded with their demands to the authorities and asked the latter to confirm whether chief minister Mamata Banerjee would attend the meeting.

Later in the day, at 3:49 am on Wednesday through the email, the government has invited all the factions to a meeting to be held at Nabanna, the state secretariat at 6 pm on the same day. However, the invitation did not clear to whether CM Mamata Banerjee would be there during the discussion or not.
According to the invitation send by the Chief Secretary Manoj Pant, the doctors should attend the meeting in a group of 12 to 15 members. He also said the doctors have gone back to work despite the Supreme Court decreed time within which they should resume work.
