KL Rahul Warned of Virat Kohli’s Revenge During ‘Who’s the Boss’ Celebration: ‘That Pavilion Is Mine’

KL Rahul Warned VS Virat Kohli: Former coach Sanjay Bangar warned Delhi Capitals (DC) batter KL Rahul about a potential act of revenge from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli. Bangar said that Kohli might respond to Rahul's "Who's the boss" celebration with a similar gesture at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the IPL 2025 clash.

After smashing an unbeaten 93 off 53 against RCB in Bengaluru earlier this month, Rahul celebrated wildly, signalling Chinnaswamy Stadium was now his "home turf." The celebration went viral on social media, and that is what fans and experts were all talking about besides his impressive knock.

KL Rahul made a memorable statement with his celebration after his match-winning knock against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He signaled that the Chinnaswamy Stadium was now his "home turf." His gesture went viral, gaining as much attention as his impressive 93-run performance.

However, with Delhi now hosting RCB, former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar warned Rahul that Kohli could likely pull off a similar in act of revenge, with a "Who's the boss" gesture. Not to forget, the Arun Jaitley Stadium is Kohli's home ground, which even has the ‘Virat Kohli Pavilion.’

"I think Virat would do a little bit differently. I think he will show that 'OK, that pavilion in which you're sitting, it's mine'. Who's the boss? Virat is the boss there," Bangar said on Star Sports.

Sanjay Bangar pointed out that the Arun Jaitley Stadium is Kohli's home ground, and it even has the 'Virat Kohli Pavilion.' Bangar added that Kohli’s response would likely differ from Rahul's in the upcoming match.

"I think Virat would do a little bit differently. I think he will show that 'OK, that pavilion in which you're sitting, it's mine'. Who's the boss? Virat is the boss there," Bangar said on Star Sports.

KL Rahul has been a top performer for Delhi this season, scoring 323 runs from seven matches. He has scored three half-centuries, with his best score of an unbeaten 93 runs in the previous match against RCB.

Virat Kohli is currently the second-highest run-scorer in IPL 2025, with 392 runs from nine innings at an average of 65.33 and a strike rate of 144.11. He has smashed five half-centuries, all in winning causes.
