Karan Johar Praises Maa Trailer, Calls Kajol’s Role as Protective Mother Her Best Yet

Karan Johar Praises Maa Trailer: The much awaited trailer of Maa, starring Kajol, was released today and it has already been spotted by Karan Johar. The filmmaker took to Instagram and shared a lengthy review of the trailer in which he appreciated his friend Kajol, who plays the lead in the film. Here is what Karan said.
On the day of release on Thursday, Karan took to his stories and shared the trailer of Maa saying he jumped out of his chair. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director further wrote, “What an incredible Trailer!!!! Has SUPER HIT written all over it." While praising his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor, Karan added, "Kajol owning every beat with heartfelt brilliance!!! Kajol as a protective mother is the best role of her life! My ticket is bought."

Maa trailer was launched on Thursday
The trailer features Kajol playing a fierce protective mother who fights against demons to rescue her daughter. The trailer starts with Kajol driving through a thick wooded forest road with her daughter when an abrupt corpse lands on their windshield.
They then reach Chandanpur where a new horrible adventure starts. Kajol forbids her daughter from stepping out of the car without her permission. The daughter learns about cursed tree that is said to be an abode of evil spirits.

Soon the audience learns that in the past couple of months several girls have gone missing from that place. Kajol is portrayed as a victim of torturous demons and when she declares that she will not let anything happen to her daughter.
