He deputed from a critically acclaimed movie Neerja as an antagonist for which he earned recognition and was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination and a Screen Award.

Jim Sarbh Early Life

Jim Sarbh was born on 27 August 1987 in Mumbai to a Parsi Family. His Father is the Regional Director of P&O Ports South and Middle East Asia and his mother is a retired physiotherapist.

His family moved to Australia when he was 3 and came back to India when he was 9 years old. In Mumbai, Jim studied at the American School of Bombay and completed his undergraduate in Emory University, USA.

Jim did a one-year literary Internship at Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. He performed in many plays across Atlanta. He performed in plays like The Show!, The Breakup, Tennis in Nablus, and Ice Glen; the last of the roles won him a Major Supporting Role Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award.

Jim came back to Mumbai in 2012 and started acting in local p[productions. His acting in all sold-out shoes he caught the eyes of people and made his Bollywood debut in Neerja.

he has traveled across several prestigious film festivals including the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, the Sundance Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival.
