ICC Issues Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu, Ex-Defence Minister Gallant, and Hamas Leader Al-Masri
Israel has dismissed the authority of the International Criminal Court while refusing to acknowledge any wrongdoing in the Gaza conflict.

ICC Issues Arrest Warrants Against Netanyahu: The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants against Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, Yoav Gallant, a former defense minister of the country as well as Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri, a leader of Hamas for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity, as was reported by Reuters.
This came after the ICC office of the prosecutor Karim Khan on the 20th of May said that he was in support of arrest warrants for alleged offenses connected with the activities of the Hamas on the 7th of October, as well as in relation to Israel's military operations in Gaza.

“The Chamber considered that there are reasonable grounds to believe that both individuals intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity,” the three-judge panel wrote in its unanimous decision to issue warrants, AP reported.
Israel has declared the ICC cannot try it and dismissed allegations of war crimes in Gaza. The country asserted its airstrike motioned Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri, aka MullahMohammed Deif, but Hamas has neither supported nor rejected the assertions.
Israel is not a signatory to the statute of the court. In the past, the country has experienced difficulty in self-investigation, as noted by human rights organizations.
