Hyderabad Horror: Ex-Armyman Boiled Wife’s Body Parts, Separated Flesh | Shocking Details

Hyderabad Horror: A 35-year-old woman in Telangana had allegedly been killed in a gruesome manner by her husband in Hyderabad.

Gurumurthy, a retired Army soldier, admitted to killing his wife, chopping her into pieces, boiling the dismembered parts in a pressure cooker, and dumping them shortly thereafter in a lake.

Police sources have come to learn that this incident occurred in Venkateswara Colony under Meerpet Police Station limits in the Rangareddy district.

Puttavenkata Madhavi was reported missing after her mother, Subamma, lodged a complaint with the police on January 18. This incident happened after Madhavi had an argument with Gurumurthy, as per ANI's Meerpet Inspector Nagaraju.

During the investigation, police took the suspect into custody. The suspect, who is presently in service as a security guard in Kanchanbagh, allegedly stated in a confession that he killed his wife in a fit of rage following a heated argument.

Boiled parts in cooker, pestle to grind bones

The suspect is accused of getting rid of the evidence after having murdered his wife. This was allegedly done by chopping the corpse in the bathroom and boiling the pieces in a pressure cooker.

He separated the bones from the flesh and used a pestle to crush them and boil them again, police have informed in The Times of India.

Three days later, he allegedly cooked the flesh and bones, packed them in a bag, and dumped the remains in a nearby lake.

Up until late Wednesday, police had still not succeeded in locating Puttavenkata's body in the lake where Gurumurthy claimed to have disposed of it. It is reported that the officials have employed clues teams and a dog squad to search the lake carefully.

LB Nagar DCP conveyed, however, that while the husband claims sole responsibility for the crime, they are continuing with the inquiry. "As of now, we are not finalising the death. We have to find out the truth, the investigation is ongoing," the senior officer was quoted by the ANI report.

Madhavi and Gurumurthy tie the marital knot thirteen years ago and had been residing at Venkateswara Colony with their two children for the last five years.

Their children were reportedly on a visit to the suspect's sister on the day of the murder. The cop said Gurumurthy had fabricated the whole missing persons drama and had informed Madhavi's parents about it.

Meerpet SHO K. Nagaraju, as quoted in ToI, further stated that the case would remain treated as a "missing person case" since none of the body's evidence had been discovered.
