Housefull 5 Advance Booking Record: Akshay Kumar Film Beats Kesari Chapter 2—Can It Surpass Sky Force?

Housefull 5 Advance Booking Record: This Friday, Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 will be in theatres. The film features actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan. According to Sacnilk, the film has been able to collect ₹2.5 crore in advance collection in India so far.

According to trade reports, Housefull 5 had sold 84,916 tickets across 11,553 shows by Wednesday evening. The film's current gross is at ₹2.5 crores, and more business is anticipated with its scheduled release on Friday. Citing trade sources, Akshay's last film Kesari Chapter 2 with Ananya Panday and R Madhavan was able to fetch an advance booking of ₹1.84 crore.

While Housefull 5 has manage to exceed this amount, it remains to be seen whether it will surpass Sky Force advance booking amount at ₹3.78 crores, The last film in the franchise, Housefull 4 , released during Diwali in 2019 and raised ₹8 crores in advance collections, taking in ₹19.08 crores net in India on opening day.

Housefull is one of India's most loved franchises. The first film grossed ₹119 crore globally, while the second film opened with ₹188 crore. The third and fourth films grossed ₹185 crore and ₹296 crore respectively.

Apart from Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek, Housefull 5 stars Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever.

The murder mystery film, set on a cruise ship, will have two different endings with two different killers. Sajid Khan directed the first two parts of the franchise, Sajid-Farhad directed the third part and Farhad Samji directed the fourth installment. Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan for the production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
