Himanshu Sangwan on Dismissing Virat Kohli: ‘Biggest Wicket of My Life’
Sangwan, the paceman for the Railways, said there was no specific plan against Kohli and he referred to Kohli as the 'biggest wicket of his life.'

Himanshu Sangwan on Dismissing Virat Kohli: Virat Kohli's return to the Ranji Trophy after 12 years and three months did not go as per his plan, for the right-hander only lasted for 15 balls. Himanshu Sangwan, the Railways pacer, sent the off-stump cart-wheeling and cut Kohli off right there. After Day 2's Stump at the Arun Jaitley stadium, Himanshu Sangwan called Kohli's dismissal "the biggest wicket of his life."
Virat stood there, rather dejected, with a nonchalance seldom displayed by him, and after a second, went back into the dugout. On Virat's dismissal, most of the crowd had started moving out of the stadium.

Sangwan said he had no special plans for Kohli despite the latter's evident weakness outside the off-stump.
Kohli's innings lasted for 23 minutes during which he scored just 6 runs before walking back.
"I had a very basic plan. I wanted to keep the basics in mind. I did not have any specific plan for Virat Kohli. It is the most important wicket of my life. Virat Kohli is an inspiration for the whole of India," Himanshu Sangwan told reporters at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
"All Delhi batters are very good in white-ball cricket. They just don't stop. We didn't want to attack them. We just wanted to stick to our plans," he added.
'Had no specific celebration in mind'
The pacer's celebration, however, provided fodder for social media, with discussion among Kohli's fans on whether the pacer perhaps crossed the line. But the fast bowler stated that he always celebrated his wickets like that, so there was nothing new.
"I did not have anything in mind regarding wicket celebration. You can look at all the old matches. This is how I celebrate," he said.

Sangwan, who was a collector of tickets, also informed that he has been transferred back to Old Delhi. Prior, he was posted in New Delhi. Over 10,000 spectators came out in the first two days of the Ranji Trophy game to watch Kohli in action against the Railways.
"For the first time in my life, I have seen so much crowd in a Ranji Trophy match," said Sangwan.
Day 2 on the Delhi Railways tie was aided by loud chants of "Kohli, Kohli" and "RCB, RCB."
At the end of the day, which was on Day 2, the score for Delhi was 334/7, leading by 93 runs.
